is a documentary that delves into the experiences of second-generation Eritreans born and/or raised in Milan during the late 1970s and early 1980s. Public debates on the experiences of the second generations in Italy have only recently started to emerge, with the underlying assumption that ‘this’ is a new phenomenon. Yet, some of the first cohorts of what we now refer to as ‘Afro-Italians’, have been living in Italy since the late 1970s."Appuntamento ai Marinai"
